Like a regulatory sandbox, but for market entry.
The UK is one of the strongest springboards: a mature market in a friendly timezone close to the continent, home to London, the biggest African diaspora city in the world, SEIS and EIS investment incentives, and significant depth of public and private sector support for landing and expanding.
UK Africa Sandbox is the market entry platform for African founders: an environment, backed by the UK government and operated by Ventures 54, that plugs you into the right people at the right time. Support is fully subsidised: free for founders.

UK Africa Sandbox is an initiative of Ventures 54, delivered directly for pan-African activity and funded by the UK Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (DBIST). Our in-country programmes, the UK South Africa Sandbox and UK Nigeria Sandbox, are delivered by V54 Open Impact, the nonprofit arm of Ventures 54, and funded respectively by the UK-South Africa Tech Hub and UK-Nigeria Tech Hub, initiatives of the Digital Access Programme (DAP) under the UK Government's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
